The campus of Mark Twain Middle School in West Los Angeles now boasts a total of nine murals, the last of which is a successful representative of our DIY Mural Painting program. The DIY program gives communities the power to bring about beautified walls with our guidance and the designs of well known and proven muralists. The mural design chosen for this activity was created by Marcel ‘Sel’ Blanco.
Proving that one voice can make a difference, the brainchild for the school’s creative projects came from one parent who wanted to bring beauty and art to their child’s school. Together parents and teachers participated in paint days and pitched in to execute the mural opportunity.
