Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
There are several factors that determine the cost of a mural. These include: size of the wall being painted, length of project, artist curation, art customization, paint and supplies, operational expenses, and community event planning and management. The minimum cost of a non-customized mural begins at $5,000.
How long will the mural be up?
The urban landscape is ever-evolving. We make a two year request to maintain the wall of each property owner. In addition, we also ask them to notify us if their building is sold and the new owner wants to make a change to the wall. Ultimately, we have noticed that the art work becomes part of the fabric of the community.
What happens if a mural is tagged?
We keep a watchful eye on our completed murals. With a $100 monthly donation, we can guarantee maintenance on-demand for 2 years.
How long does the process take?
At minimum, the process can take up to two months. However, the size of the wall and details of the art can influence time frame.
I’d like to promote my business, can you integrate my logo into the mural?
Unfortunately, this is a conflict with signage rules and regulations. We encourage our partners to consider the mural as content to be shared with their audience. The mural can speak to your business values and mission but we can not include a logo.
We would like our staff to participate in the painting of a mural with the community, can that be arranged?
Yes! Talk to us about a “Paint Day”.
We would like to arrange a video of the process, can you provide that?
For an additional cost, we would be happy to create a video. Click here for examples.
Can we choose where the mural is located?
I‘m interested! What’s the first step!
Please fill out this form and a Beautify Earth team member will respond to your inquiry in 24-48 hours.
Where can I learn more about the artists?
Contact us and we can provide links to artists that we’ve partnered with.
Will the mural adhere to copyright laws?
Because the artwork is in the artists own expression, which they do sign off that it is original art in our agreement, even artwork of well known characters or people would fall under common use.
