Beautify Earth was founded in Santa Monica with the mission to paint the world in color, complete with a lofty goal to paint one million walls in five years time. While there is a large display of beautifully painted and adorned walls in Los Angeles, did you know that Beautify Earth has many city chapters across the US and the globe?
In addition to a multi city presence, BE also launched a special roll out of five murals for the My Morning Jacket album release in the Summer of 2015. The artwork in each city was created by various artists, with each of their own individual interpretation of the band’s album cover aptly titled the Waterfall. This unique project took place in Chicago, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and Louisville. Chris Chappell, artist of the Louisville mural location actually earned the top spot with his work earning bragging rights as the winner of Louisville Mural of the year! Beautify Earth was proud to have worked in collaboration with all of the artists on this multi city, album release initiative.
If you would like to be involved with spreading love and color across your city, please reach out to Beautify Earth to learn more about sponsoring walls, volunteering and helping artists get their work displayed with the added bonus of lighting up a community. Also if you have any “off the wall” or special project initiatives that you’d like to explore with Beautify Earth, please share your brilliance and contact our team.
You have the power to change your landscape and the vision of your city. Keep Beautifying!
